The Ninety-Nines are here to support student pilots!
When you become a member of the Ninety-Nines as a Future Woman Pilot many resources are available to you. A major benefit is networking and meeting other women pilots. You will meet women from the Utah Chapter who have various experiences: other student pilots, flight instructors, airline pilots, FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) employees or just the pilot who has been flying for fun. There is a wealth of information just within the Utah Chapter Ninety-Nines.
Networking
The Ninety-Nines offers various e-mail networks where you may ask any flight
question imaginable. This allows you to have contacts with pilots from all
around the globe. The Professional Pilot Leadership Initiative is a mentoring
program offered by the Ninety-Nines that pairs you with another professional
pilot who has already achieved a career in aviation. You will spend six months
working towards your goals with the encouragement of your mentor!
Scholarships
As a Future Woman Pilot you are eligible to apply for a scholarship
of $1,000 towards your Private Pilot’s License. After being a member
for a year you are also eligible to apply for the Amelia Earhart Scholarship,
which will help pay for an entire license or rating!
